CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (Guided)

Guided classes give beginners a sense of the structure of the practice. The teacher leads the class as a group with clear instruction on each pose and the breathing technique. Guided classes are great for learning how to practice and also for the energy that come from everyone breathing and moving together.

Hatha Yoga (Beginners)

Hatha Yoga is dedicated to first-timer or regular yoga practitioners who enjoy a softer and slower practice. The class is offered at a slower pace with the support of yoga props so the beginners can cultivate the body awareness required to do yoga safely. Detailed explanations are provided. The class consists of physical postures, meditation and breath work.

AYS Signature Class

A free flow class with poses differing with each class. Combinations of Breathing practice, Foundation, and proper body alignment.
This includes the basic standing and sitting postures, inversions, core work, binding, arm balances with modifications given throughout the class that make it more accessible to beginners. This is also a good preparation for the advanced yoga postures.
It’s a great place to start if you are new to yoga or if you want to advance or deepen your practice because you get the time and space to become familiar with yoga poses and proper alignment.
