RYT 300 TRADITIONAL HATHA YOGA at SAMATVA YOGALAYA RISHIKESH INDIA BY GURU KRISHNA SIKHWAL AND SANGEETA SIKHWAL OCTOBER 2018
When I made a number of discoveries about my true self and what I really want. One of those discoveries led me to the understanding that yoga has endless possibilities to help people discover an overall sense of well-being.
And I was so eager to deepen my practice and get certified teacher. I took my RYS 200 hour Teacher Training Certification from Jovan Nikolic of Ashtanga Vinyasa 108 Yoga School in the Philippines. In October 2018 I completed my RYS 300 Traditional Hatha Yoga from Krishna Sikhwal and Sangeeta Sikhwal at Samatva Yogalaya Rishikesh in India.
Taking my Yoga Teacher Training course was a life changing. I have not only earned 500hour YTT certificate through this experience but priceless learning’s for my life.
How has my practice influenced my life?
I was a home-based English Tutor to Japanese nationals for almost nine years. The job required long hours sitting in front of a computer. As days go by physical problems started to come out. Such as back pain, severe headache even mood swings, and more. I realized that I had to do something for the sake of my overall health.
The inspiration and creativity it has ignited in me. As well as it’s healing power. I did not think twice to take my first class. I already felt a sense of calmness and joy after my very first yoga class. Which is actually the first gift As I kept on practicing different types of yoga like Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini and Yin I noticed how my body, mind and soul beautifully changing. Even believe it would happen.
Yoga has endless possibilities to help people discover an overall sense of well-being.
